I find myself taking an unscheduled, unintended vacation to the hospital, where an unintended examination occurred. Scared myself silly because I thought I was having a heart attack. The good news – a Cardiac Cath has cleared me of any blockage of the arteries going to the heart. And big drum roll, I have been smoke free for eight days now. Comparing to previous attempts, this is very good, and the longest I’ve gone without smoking a cigarette. I will tell you, I dearly miss it, too.
I can hardly believe next week will be July 4, Independence Day for us Americans. Happy upcoming holiday! I have review requests to complete. During the next two weeks, I will be doing the catch up thing to post my book reviews.
Please, please, don’t let anything else happen. The past two years have been one big roller coaster ride in terms of real and personal life issues. I need a real vacation.
